Absconding Bees!!

Hey everyone, well this sucked, every once a day odd this happens generally when there is a daily nectar flow, however sadly this was not that. We have a very real ant problem on this plot and sadly the ants ended up winning this battle. No worries we will catch them again in spring ;l)

We are approaching winter so the only way we will accumulate swarms now is through rescuing more. We had 36 swarms after this loss now 35.

The up's and down's of bee-keeping, prevail we shall.
