ANTS VS BEES

Hey everyone, this is why it is vital to control pests. Turns our wax moths and hive beetles are the least of our problems. Horrid Argentinian black ants are what causes us to lose swarms. The irony was I thought this was a super daily honey flow, sadly it was not, but our swarm leaving ;(

On a positive note two days later we caught another swarm which moved into our catch box placed on one of our roofs. This was most welcome and very unlikely for Autumn.

    Hey brother lemon grass oil and a bit of waxcomb with honey from a feral swarm removal it works a dream, amazing as it happened in Autumn. Happy days. Cheer$;)
