Children's story: She became a star
Once upon a time, a little girl named Nathalia, she enjoyed looking at the little white dots that were in the sky when it was already dark and the beautiful moon had to leave. Little Nathalia loved to have her mother read her stories before going to sleep, her favorites are those about the stars, constellations and the Milky Way.
One night as usual, Nathalia went to the balcony of her room to observe the stars with the telescope that her father gave her for her excellent qualifications, this time she was able to observe three constellations, which were: the big bear, the lesser bear and Vulpécula or the fox, his favorite. She was very anxious because there were only 2 days left until the night of the meteor shower, so that day is very important for her. Nearly the time to sleep, Nath's father approaches her and asks:
—Daughter, what book was my mother going to read today?
—What's wrong dad? It has already been two days, when Mother does not come to wish me good night and read me as usual; Is mom feeling well? —Nathalia asks
—Well, the truth is that no, your mother is in a very delicate state of health, she has a disease and she must be operated, probably she will have the surgery tomorrow, but calm if breast follows the treatment she will recover soon, not you worry— he mentions, while he hugs her.
— I see, but it is not necessary that you come to read me every night, you are taking care of mom on behalf of both, besides I am already too big for you to read me stories to go to sleep— she says, with tears in her eyes.
— It's fine to go rest.
The next morning, Nath gets up from the bed and goes to the balcony, looks at the blue sky and says:
— Today is a very beautiful day, I hope everything goes well.
—Nathalia, come on, you'll be late for school!—exclaims his father
—Yes dad, I'm out —answer.
Nathalia, leaves quickly from her room, and gets into the car with her father, and asks:
— Is today the breast operation?
— Yes, today I will pass by you early, and then we will go to the hospital.
—It seems good- says Nath, with a smile
It is already 12:00 p.m, her dad goes through her to school and then goes to the hospital. When they arrived at the room where Emma was Nathalia's mother, her mother sees her and asks:
— Hi honey, how are you, how are you doing at school?
—Hi mom, everything is fine and how are you feeling? — she asks
— I'm much better, when we leave the operation we'll go together to see the meteor shower, do you think it's okay?
—It's okay mom - says Nath very happy.
— Mrs. Emma Miller, are you ready? Interrupts a nurse
— Yes, I'm ready — she responds a little nervous
—Okay, the doctor will enter the operating room, relatives can go to the waiting room— says the nurse.
—Let's go daughter— says his father holding his hand.
Emma is admitted to the operating room, surrounded by three nurses and the doctor who will perform the operation. Nath does not know but the operation they have to do to his mother is very complicated, and lasts three to four hours if there is no type of complication.
It has been almost five hours since the surgery began, due to this Nath and his father are a little restless; After a few minutes, the operating room doors open and the small red sign on top of it goes out, which means that the operation is over. From these doors comes the doctor and the three nurses, Nathalia's dad quickly gets up, goes to them and asks the doctor:
— Doctor, how did the surgery come out?
—Well, Mr. Miller, I'm sorry to give you this tragic news, your wife died, during the operation your heart stopped several times, in the first two we managed to recover your pulse but in the last, your heart was very weak and we could not do anything else, We are very sorry for your loss. Time of death 7:30 p.m
— What?, No, this can’t be true, my wife can’t be dead— says Rob falling on his knees on the floor with his hands on his head and crying desperately. Nathalia was close by which she found out everything that had happened, she tried to be strong but in the end she could not hold back the desire to cry, the only words that came out of her mouth were —she promised, she lied to me, He kept his promise— He said running to his father's arms.
That day was not pretty as she expected it, it became a very sad one, hard to forget, when they returned home while she was in her room she remembered that tonight she would see the meteor shower that I hope so much, but something was missing, the presence of his mother. For a moment he stopped to look at a very large star that shone in a special way, she was shocked because he had never seen her before, imagine for a moment that it was his mother wanting to be with her at that moment, as he had promised.
Since then, Nathalia looks at her night after night and sometimes talks as if she were her beloved mother, which helps her remember her day after day.
