I read two different news in the paper today and it left something to write and think about. A woman was celebrated for sending her maid to school, right from primary to secondary school. She just got admitted into the university and the world celebrated her.

There was a big picture of her and the maid with a long story. On the other hand, a woman battered her maids back with razor blade because she slept in the sitting room. The news was also in the newspaper but different a little from the first.

Did you notice the difference between the 2 women, one was celebrated and the other was remanded in prison. We should understand something about life, there are results for every action we make. When you do well, you get the result and when you do badly, you get the result too.

The latter reward will definitely be terrible like the woman that battered her maid. She got a small column in the newspaper and some NGOs have stood up to fight for the maids rights. We shouldn't use our position recklessly just because we have authority at that moment, there are higher authorities too. The other woman got a whole page and a bigger picture.

The good news about the good woman is that someone gave her maid scholarship, some other people promised to give her money. No matter what you are doing, the world is watching and observing. We should be conscious of our actions.

Ask yourself, if the world should publish my actions today, what will people say about me? Maybe you can consider to do what is good for your name and image. I do tell people, we should always consider the future more than the present. This mentality will definitely keep us in check and make us behave normally.
