@OCD is getting a big boost thanks to @Blocktrades

The Operation Curation Delegation (@ocd) strives to find amazing yet underrated posts from relatively new Steemians and, leaded by one of the greatest manual curators ever - that´s you @acidyo - we try to give them the rewards they deserve.

By doing this - we like to think -, we give the posts a nice double digit payout, we encourage the authors to keep creating quality content, we incentivize engagement with the community - by resteeming some of the posts - but most importantly, we actively try to increase the percentage of new users staying and committing to our platform. If people get rewarded for their effort, they´ll adopt Steemit as their second house.

But this is only possible with Steem Power

Every project needs whales supporting the ideas and the people behind them, people who support the initiatives and founding stones of the curation guild which, in this case for us are transparency, community building and rewarding underrated authors around the Steemian Globe.

A Steemian who likes the fact we have +30 curators from every corner of the world tirelessly browsing all the tags in search of high quality gems deserving more than the few cents they usually get, is @blocktrades. Altough Blocktrades was already supporting @ocd, we spent a few weeks without his delegation, but a couple of days ago I received the good news that I was going to get a delegation and one of my first thoughts was hell yeah more support to keep @ocd´s amazing work going.

Thanks to the 260k SP delegation I got, I am going to be able to use a considerable amount of my votes to help out my fellow OCD curators and our leader to reward more posts and to keep supporting new Steemians all around the world, as well as directly supporting the project.

But wait, have you heard of the curation process @ocd follows?

One of our curators will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), and within 24 hours of finding that piece, it will be submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, each other curator will vote and after tallying, the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation and then voted by the @ocd account, @acidyo and some of the curators.

We don´t have favorite Steemians nor curate the same author often. Why? Because our platform is growing every day and a lot of new users arrive to the Steemworld every day. We have curated more than 1,000 unique authors in the past 5 months, and to ensure we curate the right posts, the nomination process is as follows:

So yeah, as you can see, through 3 different sub-projects which are English posts, International posts and Resteems, we strive to reward as many different authors every day.

This wouldn´t be possible without delegations such as the one @blocktrades gave me, or like those @ocd and @acidyo have since a long time ago. Thank you all, you are the real MVP.

Wait wait, that´s not all! We have good news!

Right now, every day we Resteem 3 amazing posts (yet underrated, always underrated) from users who use the tag #ocd-resteem anywhere within the post and then vote it to $12 - $18 total rewards, this way we add a lot more visibility to the user thanks to the 3,000 people following @ocd... but thanks to this boost, we will raise this number! We are still considering how many more posts we´ll resteem, but we´ll definitely raise that number.
