My First Oil Composition

This project was done with oil paint on canvas. This is actually my first oil painting ever. I did this particular composition to convert a message to all out there who may see the world as a dark place. To show there is always optimism out there, even when it's hidden deep in the back of ones mind. The world is not all black and white. Even in the darkest of alley ways there is always a beautiful light somewhere. Sometimes you just have to open your eyes and let the color and light shine in. The world is so much more vibrant than people imagine. However, most of humanity are blind to the luminosity due to simply focusing on the parts of life that are covered in a blanket of shadows. I encourage everyone to find that radiance in your life. Whatever it may be. Find that one thing in your life you can look to when everything gets dark and cold. Outshine that darkness in every aspect.
