Hey Guys!

It's finally raining over here. I expected it all day yesterday but it didn't really kick in until late last night and has not stopped since. They reckon we're meant to get one month's worth of rainfall today and I reckon they could be right about that one.

I'm hoping we don't get a doozy like this come party time cos.....

On a brighter note, my ornament experiments were ready for demoulding this morning and they turned out not bad! Unfortunately I forgot to do it in the video so you can only see them in the mold.

Here's a better look.

Right now I'm contemplating doing another test batch and reversing the process. So in the glitter ornament's case it would be the gold metallic border first, then gold glitter second with the white base last. I hope that makes sense..

Now that that's done and I have our final party numbers I'll me contacting our caterer and finalising our order.

A little note on the party food..

I've decided to try and make it a healthy celebration so I'm trying to come up with fun, indulgent, healthier options across the board. I did consider taking donuts off the table but I'm still undecided.

If anyone has objections to a Make You Own - Bloody Mary bar please speak up cos I'm going with the whole.. Tomato juice, celery - They're good for us right?... angle

Ok I better go cos our caterer has beat me to the punch and I see an email from her.
