DtubeSnapPlus #1: A Happy Announcement and An Explanation for My Absence!
Hello Dtubers and all Steemians!
I am sorry that I have not involved in much engagement or posting contents recently on bothering Steemit and Dtube.
That's because......
I AM PREGNANT!!!
This pregnancy is much different from my previous one with @littledrummerboy 3.5 years ago. I feel much more morning sicknesses: nauseous and get very irritated with food smell. (If only I made it for the freewrite yesterday, @mariannewest! I saw it and was going to do it when I got swallowed down by the acid reflux in the evening and night time.) I can't actually cook much now, even if I do, I wear a facial mask to filter and block the food smell, hopefully. So many changes and transitions that I am learning to embrace. One of the changes I tell myself to embrace this new journey is I gotta announce this pregnancy as an embrace of it so here I go!
I was feeling more energetic today, so I quickly do this video, though I am a bit mind blank actually. Maybe the preggers brain has set in too, Hahaha.
I have been using this acupressure bands, which is pressing on the acupressure points called nei kuan in Chinese. I measured 3 fingers down from the end of my palm and let the "button" stay there. When I feel nauseous I would gently press the button to relieve the nauseating feeling. On some days it helps, some days not so.
Anyway, I wish to continue what I have been doing, to continue to create content and post and engage! Sorry for some overdue delayed replies and very sorry to my beloved communities: @steemitbloggers and @steemitmamas for my lack of support in this period of adjustment. Sorry too that on some days, I seem to be more disinterested and also "anti-social" because I try to manage myself and get the hang of this new transition. The hormonal fluctuation has been quite foreign to me, as my first pregnancy was rather different. I do realize that every pregnancy may be different. Am also resting up for an upcoming trip that I promised a dear friend to attend his wedding.
This is my first time trying out the #dtubesnapplus, a genius innovative idea from @kaerpediem, endorsed by @nathanmars. So grateful for this so I can update you a bit what has happened to me!

I remember wearing seasickness bracelets when I was pregnant with my middle child to ward off the nausea - they use acupressure to press in that spot you described.
Funny enough, I remember that I was nauseous but I don’t remember many details about it. Maybe that’s a good thing huh? Remembering that there were discomforts but not the details.
