VLog 79 | Why The Dtube Upvote Is Like Training Wheels

In this Vlog I talk a bit about what content gets upvotes from Dtube and how the dtube upvote is like training wheels. First off I am incredibly optimistic about the Dtube platform growing. In fact I believe that dtube will grow at a rate that it will eventually become impossible for dtube to grow their curation team and steem power proportionally with the growth of the platform.

The Dtube curation team are becoming experts in viewing videos, they probably watch more videos than most other people. This means that their silent feedback through voting helps to guide creators. Also the dtube upvote carries a significant financial benefit which helps creators reinvest time and money to get the experience and gear they need to become full time content creators. However It is on us as creators to start seeking out a more sustainable source of income as depending solely on the dtube upvote or even multiple platforms account's upvote is a dangerous thing. Building your followers base on steemit and dtube is step one, that is where I am at right now. Once my followers have grown I try and figure out step two ;)
