Holding our EOS could pay dividends with all these airdrops. Basically the International version of ONO which will run on top of EOS will launch June 25th. All people who registered their EOS and were involved in the snapshot that took place on June 2nd will get a 1 for 1 airdrop for ONOT. So 1 EOS will get you 1 ONOT.
My question with ONO is it is primarily centralized and then the payment mechanism is crypto a lot like SOLA. The bad thing about that model is that it leaves the door open for ONO to delete your content if they don't like it where as with something that is decentralized like STEEM it can't really be deleted from the blockchain it is mainly flagged into oblivion. Also entire account deletion if they don't like you like YouTube does to people. No one can kick you off the STEEM blockchain. The worse you can end up is like @berniesanders and have a negative reputation.
I'm not trying to spread FUD about ONO because I don't know how centralized or decentralized it will be. I'm excited for it to launch and try it out and I think it could end up being a whole new community where we can assemble and earn crypto which is exciting.
Evidently they already have over 250,000 registered users on ONO. I don't know if part of that are bot accounts like on STEEM or what but when the EOS mainnet launches and the International version comes out on the 25th this could be pretty big.

The content will not be deleted, Super Partners will have the rights to hide the content. No one can delete the data in ONO just like Steemit. And it's not about liking or disliking, content that would be against their common value would be hidden so that people can't manipulate the system just like people have been doing on Steemit, 7.02% of total rewards were taken by the top 20 authors in April, 2018 :)
And yes, let's suppose if being a Super Partner, I hide your content, you will have full rights to call for a referendum and let the community decide if the SP action was fair or not. Do we have this kind of system on Steemit? Decentralization doesn't mean that you do everything you want even if it's harmful for the people/society and this is what we are lacking on Steemit! People creating more and more bid bots and ripping people off.
In short, it's not centralized, rather decentralized with some proper rules/policies that will be implemented as soon as the international version is launched. On Steemit, it's now a bid bot game and trending page is the perfect example how a low quality content is advertised using money. ONO will have no bot, it would be for humans, controlled by humans :)

Also, ONO will be launching its own mainnet for transactions. Additionally, the release date for the dApp was just moved back after July. Just wanted to let you know that info. The main aspect of deceentralization is the role of the Super Partners, where it's one person, one vote, and any Super Partner who is not doing a good job gets voted out. But it's not tied to your bank account.
One last point. The ONO social network used an invitation system, so robot accounts were limited. Also, ONO will make use of advanced AI and ML to highlight bot activity, which will then be reviewed by Super Partners. Then they can decide to collapse it or not.
Ok thank you for that. One of the things I'm confused about is when you are saying that ONO is launching its own mainnet. So are they just taking the EOS code and launching their own mainnet from that instead of just building it on top of EOS?
Also are the Super Partners the people running machines that produce the blocks or are they there to determine who makes money and who doesn't on the network?

Yeah kind of. The interface is looking something more like Telegram or Snapchat but you will be able to earn rewards on it.
