ONO: A DEMO OF THE ONO APP
I have heard a lot of people outside of China show a desire to see the ONO app. After all, enthusiasm for a project with just a white paper could look a lot like empty hype.
Well I am here to tell you there is a real app. Several people from China have been running an alpha version of the ONO app on their phones and a few of them have sent me screenshots and videos.
After studying this media, I’ve put together a demo that gives you a very basic idea of how the ONO app (international version is coming in May) will operate.
I have run this by the ONO core team and they have given me the thumbs up to share this with you.

Still gotta read the whitepaper, but, it reminds me of the basic format of Steemit, just cleaner and running on EOS. What conceptually does anyone thing ONO is going to differently than Steemit?
The huge thing that stands out (I still need to review the ad section) is the decentralized control of the money supply. Go to chapter 4 of the white paper and search for OAA.
Some cryptocoins set a fixed amount of coin that will be created and don’t change it. Other cryptocoins create more coins as programmed by a developer.
The ONOT gives the owner the right to vote with the ONO community to create more currency to circulate among content creators, invest the created currency, or destroy the currency if they want to increase the value of the coin.
I have never seen any decentralized governance like this. Kě Xú (徐可, CEO of ONO) calls it the great experiment because it relies on the wisdom of the ONO community to be successful.
It seems to be a very special application indeed

Looks good actually. If the app is responsive and stable, it'll be an impressive user experience. Looking forward to the first opportunity to test the english app... Will there be any way for Steem influencers like myself to get early access?
