Steemit Openmic Week 113: “Confessions of a Mage” an original inspired by Steem Monsters

What’s up Steemit Openmic Crew. If you know me as @shookriya and you were looking forward to hearing some more jazz this week then I apologize, this is not that thing. I’m working on a little side project called Auto Bodhi, which is basically me (and my pet robot Auto) doing some live looping, making beats and stuff.

The music is much different than what I put out as SHooK which is more acoustic/folk/jazz/indie/something... whatever that stuff means. So I’ve decided to open up a side account for it. I’m doing a daily live loop video on dtube and it’s been pretty sweet so far. Really pushing my skills and stirring up the creativity. Here’s what I’ve posted so far:

I’m going to be posting all of my daily loops with @autobodhi as well as any music that I do that is more electronic or whatever so if you like that stuff please follow me on this account.

So anyway, I’ve been playing a fair bit of Steemmonsters lately under the pseudonym @blockmonster and this little tune, or poetry reading to music, or spoken words to a beat, whatever it is, was inspired by this Steemmonsters contest

With all these new dapps coming out I’ve been experimenting with using alt accounts to keep my content organized and my followers feeds a bit less cluttered. For instance for actifit I use @yogabhoga and for dlike I use @homefree. I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not to spread myself out like that but it’s an experiment and I’m kind of enjoying having a couple alter egos.

Also I don't know why I put week 103 everywhere. what the hell am I on.

So I read my books and I played my games

Went to school for a bit, having too much fun
I started drriftin around and working odd jobs and
gettin odd looks like “damn that boy ain’t his fathers son”
Fast forward 10 years see all the things I’ve done
My dads still looking back at that argument he wisht hed won
When I tell him that I’m happy and being differents ok hes like
“You should’ve been drinkin beer and playin football like the other one”
So I sit here thinking if he could see me now
Playing Steem Monsters all night like WOW
I don’t think that he’d be that impressed but I guess that he’d take a deep breath
And he’d love me anyhow
