The algorithms are watching you right now. They are watching where you go, what you buy, who you meet. Soon they will monitor all your steps, all your breaths, all your heartbeats. They are relying on Big Data and machine learning to get to know you better and better. And once these algorithms know you better than you know yourself, they could control and manipulate you, and you won’t be able to do much about it. You will live in the matrix, or in The Truman Show. In the end, it’s a simple empirical matter: if the algorithms indeed understand what’s happening within you better than you understand it, authority will shift to them.
Of course, you might be perfectly happy ceding all authority to the algorithms and trusting them to decide things for you and for the rest of the world. If so, just relax and enjoy the ride. You don’t need to do anything about it. The algorithms will take care of everything. If, however, you want to retain some control of your personal existence and of the future of life, you have to run faster than the algorithms, faster than Amazon and the government, and get to know yourself before they do. To run fast, don’t take much luggage with you. Leave all your illusions behind. They are very heavy.

So what should we be teaching? Many pedagogical experts argue that schools should switch to teaching “the four Cs” – critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. More broadly, schools should downplay technical skills and emphasise general-purpose life skills. Most important of all will be the ability to deal with change, to learn new things and to preserve your mental balance in unfamiliar situations. In order to keep up with the world of 2050, you will need not merely to invent new ideas and products – you will above all need to reinvent yourself again and again.

To go from data-centrism to agent-centrism means to understand that data intrinsically always is contextual. It inverts the ontological dependency between agents and data. Instead of modelling users as a certain kind of data, all data is an output of some agent. There is no data without at least one agent that acts as the source.

Climax Climate

None of us ever thought that the change in climate global warming whatever would effect us personally. We thought that somehow or another the Seas would rise and around here it would just make things a little more wet and maybe bring the ocean a little bit closer and how pleasant that would be. Instead Fires here on the West Coast have turned the atmosphere into a noxious Mass of chemical debris floating as fine particles in the air, and those that were not evacuated by direct contact with the fires themselves they have been subjected to this aftermath of smoke that is somehow reminiscent of a nuclear winter.

Humans have a tendency to be reactive and so this may be a good time to begin doing anything about it. Individually it seems harder to recycle through centralized systems. When we go to the recycling centers these Center seem to take less and less and individually here we are finding more and more second uses for plastic, paper, and other manufactured substances aside from putting them into the landfill. Even the act of sorting before throwing away seems to have some significance and we are beginning to separate paper and plastic from each other even when they're not suitable for recycling this would seem to make it easier to locate valuable materials if they are already pre-sorted.

Where there is financial incentive to collect various forms of recyclable items, it would seem that the market would find its own level. Still there are many substances manufactured today that have no significant monetary reward for their recapture and because of this individuals are limited by their ability 2 dispose of these materials anywhere, and so especially in cities where people are close together there's not much room for individuals to sort materials, and this is unfortunate because at the Grassroots level, at the end of visual level, this is where most solutions to the centralized problems are located

We are channeled into a kind of a race on many levels between technology itself and ourselves, and until we are able to merge with the technology to the extent that it helps us with our biological systems to make them a more healthy and compatible to humans, well we will be experiencing this kind of duality and dualized thinking.

The animals here seem stressed and Confused by the change in atmosphere. Even the insect world seems to have slowed down and has a kind of sleepy smoke stoneless stoned Ness that makes one consider the idea that somewhere a big stash saved over from last year's Harvest went up in smoke. The air the water the land the Earth itself is old developing a chemical mixture of elements created, so to speak, by human activity which has infiltrated our food chain the Earth we plant our food in the air we breathe and even filters the sunlight that we see.
