Thank you for this tutorial, @gmatthe2... I too have made this sort of box before. In fact I used to keep big christmas cards to recycle them this way ... The card is a bit hard to fold so I make a little 'cut' to help folding (sorry... is that 'kirigami' then?) :D
I fear that it is called something much rarer...common sense :)
