October Origami Challenge - Stages of Life
Good morning. October is full of so many fun things including this origami challenge found at the origami forum -
Stages of Life.
This challenge almost stumped me I must admit. I wanted to have a box and in each side have the development of a crane.
This was the box I was experimenting with, however the spare paper in the sides isn't enough to create what I wanted and maintain a box shape.
I ended up starting anew and had in mind creating a flower or something to show blooming. My flower vase started to develop, so I took it back to the beginning to show my thought processes. From bud -> to unfurling -> to blooming -> to bloomed.
The challenge calls for one piece of paper so this may be disqualified and I am looking into how to make an origami dragon egg, but for me life is about change and that is hard to show in a single moment.
