The air is warm. The water, not so much
For @juliank 's #vehiclephotography contest this week, I’ll deviate from my usual bike photo post and share a cell phone shot that I took on the French Broad River in Western North Carolina (near Rosman). Most of the river was pretty calm like this, but there were a few mild whitewater sections (probably just class I and II). Overall, it was a pretty relaxing day though…the sun felt great, but that water was still pretty cold. Definitely incentive to stay in the boat.

I have never tried a stand up paddleboard, but it does sound like fun.

Thank you! My shoes were wet in this shot, but it felt OK with the sun out. It was definitely a beautiful day to be out.
