Desmond Nevelspoock, original art
I'd like to present the thirteenth original portrait in my @nevelspoock -series: original paintings used as a starting point for a game that I and two friends are developing (Secrets of Nevelspoock):
Desmond Nevelspoock, original 13x18cm (one of the smallest paintings in the series), oils on canvas, original not available:
Desmond Nevelspoock, born 1813 on Nevelspoock Island; died 1879, in Scotland, at the Tay Bridge disaster, while on a businesstrip for Nevelspoock.
Desmond is the twin brother of Oscar-Morris, and the uncle of Lucinda and Francesco.
Desmond has no direct influence on what happens during the game (the game takes place some 40 years after the tragic accident in which he died). But he probably had a secret or two, keeping things from being found out...
Liked: stormy weather: rain, hail, lightning; Scottish whisky; bonfires.
Disliked: cowards.

Disliking cowards probably means he is brave. He looks quite ghostly to me in his portrait.

I seriously LOVE how dreamy these are. They are like finding an old portrait in your attic and wiping at the dust to see who peers below, hoping of course it isn't a portrait of yourself that grows older or younger :)
Hahaha, thank you! Yes, that feeling of finding a long lost portrait in the attic is what I’m trying to paint. Without that kind of twist of course, although you never know with these Nevelspoocks... :D
