My First Palnet Post
What is up everyone?!
This one came out of left field for me so I had to do some digging in before posting.
From what I gather so far PALNET.IO is a platform interface for steemit. The rewards however are paid out in PAL coins which are traded on Steem-Engine.
You can view your payout rewards here on Palnet via PAL and also your wallet while it all looks like steemit's it is infact all paid through PAL.
On your wallet will be PAL coins but also more importantly PAL power which most likely will be just like how steem that is powered up works.
At the moment my vote is worth nada however Steem Engine does offer a few staked miners to be traded which I am currently working on getting.
1 Mega staking will run you 300 Steem while a normal miner will run you 100 Steem you can find them via the token PALMM and PALM.
You could also buy PALcoin at the moment and use it to power up your account.

This project looks pretty good and one that should do well as a good stepping stone of what SMT should be looking like and how they should be working if Steemit ever gets their butts on it (not holding my breath)
For now Steem-engine and that community has a huge amount of my backing and support simply because they get shit done.
Palnet is a great way to earn some extra rewards while still doing what you love so check it out.

You've got a pretty good handle on all of it! Right now is the fun part, where people try it and we get a feel for what we want to keep changing and growing. There will be lots to come, with a visual refresh, and new ways to move around the platform. I'm excited to see you've tried it out. A good way to think of it is like a companion and expansion to Steem!
Everything you do here will be reflected on Steem interfaces as well; if you hold PALcoin staked, it's like powering up your Steem into SP. It will allow you to allocate rewards in both tokens while voting on content all over this front end, and all Steem front ends if the palnet tagged is used. Overall, we're just really excited to try to get people excited about engaging, sharing, and being social again. It's a big experiment that we're pretty stoked to be be a part of, so it's cool that you're taking a chance and helping to spread the word!
It's legit awesome and very powerful to be able to earn rewards on here but also on steemit at the same time. It seriously is a no brainer to pretty much spend all your time on Palnet now :D hopefully soon I will have enough to power up here that will be worth some weight here for updates as well.
Many of the users I follow have already started posting on PALNet so I guees I have jump on the bandwagon soon!
