Enjoy and learn from this short Tortoise and Elephant story

I was just sitting, thinking about some of the past things and I remember a story my dad told me years ago. It is about Africa fantasy story. It is a story about animals. When we talk about animals stories in Africa, Tortoise is always on the pivotal play. This is because our forefather believes Tortoise is a very wise animal.

Sometimes I used to have the thought like, what made our fathers believe this animal is wise? It only has a strong back. It keeps its head inside whenever something harmful is coming. I might need to ask more questions, but if you are reading this post and you can solve this puzzle for me, I would appreciate.

I tried to be original, therefore I made non-professional freehand sketching of a Tortoise and an Elephant since this post is based on the two animals. Apologies if the image defect what truly those animals are, but I drew in a form of clipart.

The shot story

There was a time in the animal kingdom when there was no King. All animals set a meeting that they need someone to be their King. With no regards, Elephant stood up and said, 'there is no need to start deliberating on this issue. I am the biggest here and I will be the King.' Some animals opposed and Elephant began to kill them one after the other.

Elephant became terrifying, and when it got to a point, Tortoise called a meeting with other animals, and he said. 'Elephant has become very terrifying and, we can't afford to be dying every day. I have a master plan I just want all of you to follow everything I say'. They all believe that Tortoise is a very wise animal so they followed the words. Tortoise said 'we will make Elephant the King, so I want everyone here to spread the news that Elephant will be our next King'. They agreed and everyone was sharing the news until Elephant heard in its abode.

On the day of the coronation, Tortoise told some animals to dig deep the throne where Elephant will sit, and they should decorate it, and put a very flexible chair for him to sit. So all the animals went to the Elephant house and they were singing as thus:

''We will make Elephant the King'' the rest we replying- ''The big animal is the King''. The sang till they got to the palace and they pave way for the King to sit on the throne. The big animal proceeded, sit and fell into the pit, and he died. After his death, Tortoise said; Lion is the rightful animal to be the King. They now made Lion the King of the jungle.

According to the story, Tortoise helped Lion to become king of the jungle. This is a funny story, and we used to believe this so much when we were little.

The moral of the story is that knowledge is power, power is power and knowledge is profit. I will elaborate.

Tortoise used simple wisdom and knowledge to kill the Elephant, despite his power.

Elephant exercised real power to defeat all the animals. If wisdom was not added, he would clear off the kingdom with his power.

knowledge is profit because the knowledge of Tortoise saves the lives of the entire kingdom. That's it.
