Flooding in the south : living close to the Niger

Raining season is upon us and if you live in the coastal region you would know that flooding is is a paramount thing that is expected especially when there is no proper drainage in the area.

It's no news that alot of buildings are designed on the existing water ways and you know the saying that water always finds its way down the gradients, but when there is so much obstructions in the water ways flooding is inevitable.
