PALnet.io

What do you do, when an organization that has been the front runner on a platform doesn't perform anymore? Or it promises, but doesn't deliver? Do you keep complaining about it? Or do you take matters in your own hands?

Well, we can definitely say the latter!

After Weedcash.network, now PALnet.io is live. An extra frontend on the steemblockchain, with it's own tokenization on top off the the Steem tokenization. Wow, that sounds a lot more difficult than it actually is.
Palnet grew out of the Minnowsupportproject, a project that was designed to curate minnows on the Steem blockchain, some kind of alliance, in which minnows supported eachother. Now it has become a whole network, with it's own tokens, PAL. So when you vote on a post that has the the tag palnet on it. The author gets Steem according to the stake you voted with, but also PAL according to the stake you voted with.
Currently PAL is pegged around 1 Steem, with a solid economy behind it!

I must say, I am impressed. After half a year waiting for SMT's, they still aren't delivered by @steemit. But who cares, if Steem-engine, Weedcash.network and Palnet.io show that @steemit isn't needed for that. We can sure as hell grow on this blockchain, to an immensely powerful and widespread network, with abilities that weren't even thought to be possible.

I have a feeling, @ned and his team, have some hard nights right now, and need to pick it up fast. If they don't want to become obsolete!
