A day like today: Pancho Villa
When he was born he was baptized Doroteo, name that means gift of the gods and his last name was Arango, but not many know him as Doroteo Arango, although everyone knows him as Pancho Villa.
Doroteo Arango, that is to say, Pancho Villa, took that name when several circumstances pushed him to take up arms. But it is not his departure that is remembered today, but his birth. Pancho Villa, the legendary, was born on a day like today, June 5, 1870. And like all men who are legends, he was born not to die.
