Vadodara(Gujrat, India) bans pani-puri

Pani-puri is something we all like very much. We can simply cant resist to have yummi teekha pani puri. But very sad news for Vadodara people in Gujrat. Vadodara bans pani puri and approx 4000 kg of puri's just thrown away. Munical corporation of Vadodara bans pani puri because of health concerns.
Although this ban is temporary not permanent. Munical corporation taken this step because now a days Jaundice spreading fastly in the city. Municipal corporation feels pani puri is not very hygenic and it might lead to some serious diesease. But vadodara people waiting for pani puri again to restart. What do you feel guys about this step? Was it right step?
