We call it chitting in the UK setting the seed potatoes aside to put on growth. I'm a bit more laid back and just plant them up, it probably affects the vigour and yeild a little so worth chitting if you want the most produce possible
Cool. First time with potatoes for me since I was a child, growing up on a farm with raspberry, onion, potatoes and strawberries production. So I'm looking forward to see how the yeald becomes 😉
