Super Simple Example to Understand Crypto & Blockchain

recently, I was watching a video on youtube,
by a channel called as Kurzgesagt...

...at the end of the video, they said that over
10,000 people donate a monthly income to
this youtube channel!

these donations, help this channel Kurzgesagt,
to pay salaries to their employees, buy new
hardware & software equipments...

...pay for tech, make more videos, spend more
time conceptualising

these monthly donations help them remain
independent, and focus on quality over quantity!

they even went on to say, that Kurzgesagt, would
have been nothing without the support of the people...

Kurzgesagt is privately owned, its just raising funds
from its followers...

...but imagine, hypothetically speaking, what if those
10,000 people owned Kurzgesagt. The ownership would
be 'distributed'...

now, from this point onwards, we can begin to think
about blockchain & cryptocurrency...

you see, if we talk about any currency, like USD, Euro
etc, they are controlled by a single authority...

a cryptocurrency, is not controlled by a single point
of authority, but a group of people

see, blockchain & cryptocurrency are changing the
world, building a whole new level of trust... .

..making everything decentralised, so you don't have
to rely on a single body/person/entity which could
screw you up!

cryptocurrency, is "people's money" - in other words...

created...

we, the people, human beings, are collectively responsible
for its value...

in our daily transactions...
