Oatmeal & Chocolate Cookies @ RECIPE JOURNAL

Melts in your mouth, even your fingers approved it... Even your fingers wanna taste them!!!

First, prepare your ingredients as such:-
150g butter
120g castor sugar
One large egg
220g plain flour
Half tspn baking soda
Half tspn salt
Half tspn baking powder
100g rolled oats
100g choc chips

Equipments as such:-
Hand mixer
Spatula
Mixing bowl
Small ice cream scoop
Baking tray
Oven preheated at 170°

Preparation time: 20 mins
Baking time: 20 mins

You may cut the butter (out of the fridge while it is still solid) into small pieces for better mixing later. Use hand mixer to beat it, for now might be soften already.

Swipe with Spatula to gather the butter together and add sugar now. Beat again with the hand mixer. Hold your mixer straight because you won't want to have the butter pieces flying across the room.

Use Spatula to gather the butter sugar together and now, add the large egg altogether now, beat it up.

Assemble your four white items (plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt) together in a bowl and start sifting it into the butter sugar egg mix now.

Use Spatula to swipe them together into the middle of the bowl. Now, add in the rolled oats and use Spatula to fold them together. Do the same thing with the choc chips!

The rough texture of oats and choc chips made it perfect to scoop. On the tray, place them about 1 - 2 cm away from each other to avoid sticking to each other. After baking them for 20 minutes at 170°, I'm sure your cookies will be ever ready!
