Sabbatai Zevi and modern injustice as perpetrated by the masses.

Having proclaimed himself the Jewish messiah, we see sabbatai zevi in retrospect as a person of great influence on the world, however detrimental he may have been. Many if his followers behaved in a manner which was unbecoming to the time in which they lived. There was a wanton level of debauchery and what would be termed sin which was brought on by a desire to speed prophecy. Though Zevi was stopped for all intents and purposes, we may still see his influence on modern society in many ways. Modern christianity most resembles sabbatean methodology. Through a belief in fulfillment of prophecy, the lay christian has come to believe that all is well even in the midst of some of the greatest injustices mankind has seen on both the macro and personal level. Many a time, the modern followers of christianity cause a message of love to bring imbalance into their perspectives and they forget that love implies the disliking of that which is contrary to love itself. If there is a mass acceptance of lawlessness where will we be? Certainly not "no place", certainly not utopia. Is this the root of most modern mental health problems? Convoluted beliefs with thousands of factions?
