#MyUsername | Why I'm @laputis
I'd like to thank @organduo for nominating me for this challenge and to @contrabourdon who created it.
My username @laputis in Lithuanian means foxy, like a little fox (pronounced la-pòo-tis). A grown up fox is called lapė (pronounced laah-peh).
One could think that I refer to a wild fox, but it is actually the name of my brother's beloved ginger cat.
One could wonder at my choice, but surely no one would want to read my full name wich is Aušra Motūzaitė-Pinkevičienė. So as @laputis I can draw silly comics about Pinky and Spiky, but as Aušra Motūzaitė-Pinkevičienė I'm a serious organist, music theory teacher and Doctor of Musical Arts.
I wanted to stay semi-anonymous on Steem and choosing cat's name that in Lithuanian means foxy seemed like a good idea. But can you hold a secret when your husband is @organduo? 😄
