PBBT 提前抵达

I was invited to be one of the facilitators of a leadership seminar, and one of the rules that both the facilitators and participants has to observe is known as PBBT. PBBT means “Please Be Before Time”. This is much needed as this is one of the requirements for having a high quality seminar. By being at the seminar before the commencing time of every session is to ensure that we can all start on time.

PBBT is not just to be on time but “to be before time”. The seminar may be started on time if everyone is on time. However, it usually takes some time for the facilitator and the participants to adjust themselves to the environment. At time it may take up to a few minutes. Hence, being on time implies that we get into the content a few minutes later.

As a facilitator, I usually need to set up the laptop by connecting it to the projector for presentation. And this can conveniently takes up about five minutes. Therefore, when I facilitate a seminar, I usually try to be there fifteen minutes before time.

PBBT is a good practice. It is for the benefit of everybody. Therefore, it is vital to learn and practice it soonest possible.

作为导师，我通常需要将笔记本电脑连接到投影机以进行训练。这准备轻易地占用大约五分钟，因此为了研讨会能够顺利进行，我通常会在十五分钟前抵达。

PBBT是一个很好的操练，也是益人利己的纪律，因此有必要尽快学习和实践它。
