We need “wake up call” from time to time. Staying in a hotel or napping in an aireport lounge, we may request wake up call.

Usually when I am outstation and being put up in a hotel, I set up my own alarm. Beside that I would request the hotel receptionist front desk to provide me with wake up call just in case my alarm clock is not working. Likewise, taking a rest in a napping area in an airport lounge, I do request wake up call other than I myself have set up my own alarm clock of the mobile phone.

Wake up call is necessary to enable us to rest without worry. And we will not oversleep, if not, we may miss an important function or scheduled flight. Similarly, life can be hectic if we do not know how to rest well. Good rest is a time that we are free from anxiety and have ceased from work temporarily. To do so we need to be assured that we can wake up at the right time by relying on the alarm clock or wake up call.

We are vulnerable living in the troubled world. Therefore, we do need wake up call in many aspects of life and be responsive accordingly.

我们需要不时被“叫醒”。入住酒店或在机场休息室小休，我们可能会需要叫醒服务。

通常当我公幹并入住酒店时，我会设置自己的闹钟。除此之外，我还会要求酒店服务台提供叫醒服务以防我的闹钟无法正常操作。同样的在机场休息室的小睡区，除了使用手机设置自己的闹钟，我也会要求叫醒服务。

叫醒服务相当重要，因为它可以使我们无需担心地休息。换言之，有此服务，我们可以避免睡过头错过了重要的节目或航班。此外，如果我们不知道如何安息，生活将会很劳累。好好休息促使我们摆脱焦虑并暂时停止工作。为此，我们需要确保自己可以在适当的时间透过闹钟或唤醒服务醒来。

我们如今生活在一个有诸多困难的世界。因此，我们不时需要在不同的方面被唤醒并做出适当的响应。
