The Path of the Moth
Dreams flit through my mind
silver moth wings,
dip and flit,
careless dancer
graceful believer
lifting cares and nightmares
plunging waterfalls and
scaling gullies to tip
the pinnacle of your mountain.
This gentle touch,
this wanton illusion
is melody to my sleep.
The weight of worlds
and anquished hearts
balance on
your powder wings.
