Party preparations.
After my exams I was planning a night stay at my house for my university friends. It would be a BBQ on the roof, here in Pakistan we don't have huge backyards but our roofs our flat with boundaries like a balcony with sufficient space. So it was decided to have our BBQ their. One of my friend who lives down the street and I went shopping.
We got 20 chicken leg and chest pieces, beef cuts and minced meat. Along with that we bought coals, paper plates and glasses, had to arrange the lighting arrangements extensions and carpets to lay on the floor. All of this was done yesterday because today is the party so I'll update on it tomorrow.
We had to prepare spices to marinate the meat, we had help from shan ready made maslalas and meat tenderizers. They do the charm. We mixed red chilli powder, turmeric powder, olive oil, youghurt and garlic ginger paste along with the tenderizer and mixed it with the meat. The meat was set aside to lay on the paste overnight. This makes it juicy and tender when it is cooked on the burning coals.
I asked one friend to arrange speakers for the party music and we decided to bring the led and ps4 on the roof to play FIFA or watch a horror movie with the lights off under the open sky. The planning is now complete all that is left is for my friends to arrive and have fun after the stressful exams season. Hope you all are also enjoying life.
