Real talk for a moment. This is something I seriously have a hard time with. I take too much of the negative things said about me to heart. It's a bad habit, made worse by the crippling self doubt I've had for decades. It's easier said than done, but it's an important lesson to try and remember every now and again.
I feel you my friend. It's that much harder when people around you aren't supportive, but you must realize everything I noted. Also I believe in your ability to pursue your ambitions :)
