Patience...
So, it is all about patience... I need to be patient, especially as the crypto markets are red. It is hard, but I know, sometimes in the future, the market will go all green again, and my portfolio will smile at me. But, that day isn't today, and it wasn't yesterday. Of course, what we experience right now is nothing compared to what life was like after Luna and FTX, but still... it feels kind of depressing right now.
The question is, when will things start to pump again? I know, it isn't really about price, but about the technology, but what most of us look at is the price. Many people predicted that things will be slow for a few months, and then a few months after the halving, that is when the markets will start to respond and that is when the bull markets have started. Will we see something similar again? Or is it to extreme to speak of a trend based on the fact that we haven't really witnessed a lot of halvings so far. The first was in 2012, the second in July 2016, the third in May 2020, and then the fourth in April 2024.
It is hard to say, but I would be open to see a bullrun once again...

I find that listening to peoples predictions just make me feel even more confused, lol. My dad and my brothers are all big into reading the market and honestly, a lot of it still just goes straight over my head... though I would like to change that... at some point. I just need to find the time to dedicate toward the learning.
So many times I have sworn that it seems the crypto market is intentionally going out of its way to make my life difficult haha!!!
Lucky you having family that are interested in the markets and trying to read the markets... at least it gives you an interesting conversation during meals that you might have together (even if you don't agree or don't understand)...
I tried to learn all sorts of technical analysis back in the time, but didn't have much success or perseverance in that, so I'd rather try to stay a cold-headed trader who keep for long-term and only sell if I see that my portfoliio is high up... until then I just build and wait. All my attempts at being short-term trader (day-trading) has ended up with failure, so find it safer to just go for the long haul!
