Peace 和平

We all need peace. What type of peace do we need?

First possible type is peace in the form of calmness. Although everything appears calm, this type of peace can easily make us losing our sense of crisis. When we are off guard and there is a real crisis, we can be devastated.

Second type is peace in the storm. In such a situation, we are aware of our vulnerability. It is certainly a good thing if someone is able to provide us the guidance and timely protection.

Third type is the peace that surpasses our comprehension. There are times that we become helpless and are at the verge of hopelessness. In such a desperate situation, we do need someone whose power is surpassing all the earthly power. Isn’t that a great privilege if you and me can have that very someone who reigns forever and ever to grant us the peace that surpasses our human understanding?

我们都需要和平。我们需要怎样的和平呢？

第一种可能的和平即是平平静静。尽管一切看起来很平静，但这种和平很容易让我们失去危机感。当我们处于真正的危机，我们可能会受到严重伤害。

第二类和平是风暴中的和平。在风暴期中，人会意识到自己的脆弱。如果有人能够给予適切的指引和保护，那肯定是一件好事。

第三类的和平是超越我们理解的和平。有时候人变得无助，处于绝望的边缘。在这样的光景中，我们的确需要一位大能者，而且其能力是超越所有地上的力量。如果这位大能者永远掌权，又乐意为你我提供那超越性的和平，这豈不是你我均需要的福份吗？
