The Myth of Overpopulation

The myth of overpopulation came about in England, 1798 by Thomas Malthus.
He believed that our food production could not keep up with the exponential growth of humans and determined that the world would be out of food by 1890.
In his "Essay on the Principle of Population”, he actually formulated a plan to kill the poor and less fortunate citizens so that the wealthy and elite would have enough food and resources.
An Essay on the Principle of Population

Paul Ehrlich of Stanford University expanded upon this erroneous idea in 1968 when he claimed that famines would decimate humanity by the 1970’s to due “reckless human reproduction”.

This led to the creation of the UNFPA, which is the United Nations Fund for Population Activities.
This organization is funded by the elite and is responsible for population control programs and propaganda fear tactics of a manufactured crisis that isn’t real.

We don’t need to kill innocent people to take their resources and we don’t need to prevent people from existing in the first place.

The fact is that we have enough natural resources for everyone to live in abundance.

The technological revolution eliminated the problems we used to have in obtaining resources, but another problem arose as a result:
Greed and abuse, industrial pollution, and the hoarding of land and resources by the elite.

This is the actual problem we are facing.

The myth of over-population is purposely designed to create a scarcity mindset.
There is plenty of room on this planet for everyone.
If you took the population density of Paris and you forced the whole world to live at that population density, you could fit the entire population of the planet into the state of Texas.

The idea of over-population is just another example of manufactured reality to keep us in a fear based scarcity mindset which is overwhelmingly unhealthy for human existence.

A great read. I do think that as the population of our planet keeps growing we need to be smart about the way we produce resources such as food and electricity though. And I am not talking about GMO and all that meddling with nature. More along the lines of global thinking. For instance; we have a lot of sun and sand in Africa, so there go the solar towers/plants. A whole lot of wind in Northern Europe, there go the windmills. And we store the lot in the artificial lakes in Scandinavia to generate new electricity through water once it is needed. Seems like we can be a lot more efficient once limits such as borders become obsolete.

We have been duped @aggroed on so many levels and for a very long time. We are being led into Agenda 21 (and now 2030) with few realizing. Most people have no idea what Agenda 21 even is

I believe one of the key steps we can take at this time is to move toward a more Fully Informed Public as soon as we can. People are waking up but so many are simply stuck in that rut of day to day survival. This is the mass we need to reach.

To see the magnitude of those left to fend on their own for news one only has to look to the rush hour traffic in and around large cities which hold the multitudes already. These people have little time for research and are basically dependent on mainstream to give them the misinformation and disinformation of the day. These are the ones that can only continue to make uninformed choices and uninformed decisions. Unfortunately, those same uninformed choices and decisions many times effect us all.

I am very curious about the mspsteem.com site and wonder what its mission or purpose is. I want more than anything to continue working toward a more #fullyinformedpublic and am hoping to use the Steemit platform as a means to continue that goal

There is a great deal of potential here with this platform. I am familiarizing myself everyday as to how best to approach this to make it work for the greater good.

I don't know. I'm with you about it being an elite few who are doing the most damage; maybe that means the problems are not just a matter of too many people. Maybe what the world needs is an actual sustainable lifestyle for people, but what would that look like?

All of that misses the main point: What is the carrying capacity for the earth? Even if we aren't there yet, how many people are too many? The number can't rise forever, right?

If the population continues to rise exponentially, at some point it will exceed the ability of technology to sustain it. The interesting thing is that the population rise has slowed down somewhat in the last 50 years, for various reasons. It's still increasing, but not as fast as it was.
This "technology is needed to feed the people" mentality is what corporations like Monsanto use to justify their GMO crops and their weed poisons that they feed us with. It doesn't actually increase crop production, but it certainly does increase their profits.

Very good post... =)

thank you for sharing this information my friend.

Impressive and fact-filled. Indeed the Earth has enough resources to take care of as many people in the world. Greed is our problem.here in my country the few politicians pack and even store money underground while a lot suffer in lack. Yet they make issue of some persons giving birth to many children sounds worst.

Thanks for bringing this out

Ugh gotta love the elite 😤 Amazing post sir thank you 💜

Yeah, they pretty much only lied to us about everything. Hard to make people send their children off to wage war if everyone is fat and happy.

It gets even scarier when you look up the experiment they did with the rat hotel. It's too late for me to try and find the link for it. So you'll need to search it yourself.

After getting educated, see if you still think that crowding people into dense cities is really such a good idea?
