The origins of the Kinsey Institute lie in the scientific research of Indiana University professor and entomologist turned sexuality researcher, Alfred Kinsey. The 1947 creation of the nonprofit institute, originally named the Institute for Sex Research

Supported by both Indiana University pres. H. B Wells & the Rockefeller Foundation, a major financial backer of Kinsey's research. The ISR was established to protect and preserve the confidentiality of Kinsey's data and research materials by creating a secure, permanent repository.

Alfred Kinsey was considered a "pioneer" in sexual research in the late 40's.
His claim to fame came with his book Sexual Behavior in the Human Male.
Selling more than 750,000 copies.

His book speaks of how young men are sexual creatures, who have tendencies at a very young age. Disturbingly enough he had research involving orgasms in pre-adolescent boys to back it up. According to Alfred, orgasms could be recognized & identified through the following acts:

*Extreme tension with violent convulsions
*Groaning, sobbing or more violent cries, sometimes with an abundance of tears
*Extreme trembling, collapse, loss of color, and sometimes fainting
*some before the arrival of orgasm will fight away from the partner

A fact I still can not believe I have found is...
Alfred "Alfe" Kinsey also tracked minors ability to have multiple orgasms at ages as young as 5 months.
