The celebrant is happy.
And this very day remains dear.
Everyday of the year
Is someone's birthday.
It is a day to have one's way
A day of rice, cake, drinks, and ice-cream.
Food that satiates our souls.
We laugh a lot.
Cheer our souls up
And adorn ourselves in lovely apparels.
We sing the lyrics of the, 'Happy Birthday ' song
And the celebrant is swamped with presents
And wishes the day never ends
But as evening draws near,
The elegant realizes
That the special day has ended.
Expectations run high
As we look forward to the next one.
