I feel bad for all those people in such a hurry that they will risk their lives to get where they are going just a little bit sooner.

When I get stopped like that, or I get behind someone going very slowly in traffic, I always think that it's to protect me from some accident that I'd likely be involved in if I where to be further ahead. A 'wrong place, wrong time' kind of scenario.
