Terserang Wereng, Petani di Pesawaran Terpaksa Panen Dini Padinya
Beberapa petani di Desa Sriwedari Pesawaran Lampung terpaksa memanen padinya lebih dini.
Ini disebabkan karena serangan hama wereng yg menyerang tanaman padinya.
Akibat serangan hama wereng ini, kondisi padi semakin melemah. Tampak pokok padi yg mulai membusuk.
Sebenarnya, berbagai upaya antisipasi sudah dilakukan misalnya menyemprot tanaman padi dengan pestisida.
Akan tetapi sepertinya wereng sudah kebal dengan obat kimia.
Maka daripada membiarkan batang padi membusuk yang berakibat buruk pada biji padi, maka padi yang belum sempurna tuanya ini terpaksa dipanen lebih dini.
