Water colour roses, so lovely and pure; extravagant, fragrant but quietly demure
Colours of pastel, some quite bold; pinks and yellows, with tinges of gold.
From miniature seed everything grows, from tiny bud, to full bloomed rose,
Flowers of romance, they do inspire, So much to love, so much to admire
Beauty adored down through the ages, Sonnets and poems in well worn pages
Who is your rival? What can compare? There is no other, we love so dear.

These beautiful water coloured roses were painted on a ceramic circle and imbedded onto a wooden table by my lovely daughter in law's grandmother. It means a lot to her. So there fore, it is special to me also.
