I know a woman that runs a Macaw rescue. Of course, she started with one... She now has converted the 3rd floor of her house to an aviary, where the 10 or 12 Macaws live. It's a lot of work, but they certainly are beautiful birds in an area where they can fly at will...

Though unlike Johnny Depp they do not foul in one spot. And she's never tried to teach them the word to he best of my knowledge.
