My Nominations for the PHC Top 3 Monthly Contest - Kids TV Shows
This is my entry into this month’s PHC Top 3 contest. This topic is something I have always been very passionate about. I often reminisce about all the old Tv shows that we used to watch. "We" being me and my brother @cheese4ead. There are so many to choose from that I had to really think long and hard over the final three. Here they are:

| 1 |  | The Mysterious Cities of Gold was a brilliant mix of great storyline, awesome animation and interesting historical information. The story is about a boy named Esteban who was traveling with a group led by Mendoza. They are searching for the seven cities of gold and untold riches. These cities were built by the Mayans and Incas. Esteban is also searching for his father. The animation was first class and classic Japanese quality. The historical element was fascinating and was also fused with a little science fiction. |
| 2 |  | Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. So if you are after that moment of rushing home from school, sat down in front of the TV with a bowl of Rice Krispies, desperate for a show to start, then this is it! The theme tune gets me every time, in fact me and my brother sing it at every opportunity! Even now, 30 years on. The show was about cars, evil plant based creatures and some wicked bad guys. So cool. |
| 3 |  | Fun House. This was a manic game show hosted by ex Radio 1 DJ, Pat Sharp. Famous for his awesome mullet! (See the video). Two kids from two different schools would go head to head answering questions, doing some really mucky stuff and best of all, driving go karts. It was broadcast on a Friday afternoon as well, so everyone was feeling great and up for the weekend. |

That is a fantastic mullet, haha! Fun to see your choices to go along with @cheese4ead's! I think this month more than any there have been a lot of choices I didn't grow up with, but still a blast to see what types of shows were on all over the world or in different decades. You totally got the sound of Rice Krispies in my head now, too. :)
