Harvest time for Lobster Farm in Surigao
Lobster Farming are one of the main export food grown in Surigao near the mangroves and the waters are a little more protected. The nets form a cage under the huts where they are safe and shaded. Depending on size it takes 5-10 months to grow them to harvest size. The farmers will feed them fish they catch or old stock from markets for cheap.
The boy is diving and collecting the full size lobsters.
The scale is being prepared by the buyer who will also transport the lobsters to the warehouse be exported to Chinese markets.
They weigh from 650gram to 1kg each. They are weighed in batches and tallied up
After they are done they will spread the lobsters into their pump boat with a little water and shade them to keep them cool and move them quickly to the warehouse so they will not die from the heat.

Lobster farming is perfect only in the coastal, along with tge lobster you can mix it with oyster or clams.
