Ready for another #summer get away? A trip that you could do with family or friends that would leave you with epic memories and amazing moments or a date with your love one at this wonderful place, taking in the beauty of mother nature. This place has been one of those MUST be visited places when you get your feet on this Island. Its lake has a shape of a guitar whose park is the entry point in accessing the lake itself. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island.

Lake Danao Park, Is also known for its legend where the locals would tell you about. According to the story there was a married couple Isyong and Isyang. Basing on the stories that the locals told, I could imagine that It wasn’t a healthy and happy marriage as they argued with each other constantly. Due to the arguments and fights that they had fate or Mother Nature cursed them to be separated from each other – water then started to appear encircling and separating them both which has made the Crocodile Islet and Snake Islet that you’d be able to see in Lake Danao.

However, regardless of the tragic story, the lake is still popularly known as Lovers Lake because of its ambiance. The entrance of Lake Danao Park is tad bit far from the lake, There’s an entrance fee of ** 15.00 PHP ** to help keep maintain the lake and its park. The ride will cost around ** Php50 to Php100 ** in going to Lake Danao Park if you're staying in Pacijan. The park as well opens as early as 6AM and closes at 6PM in the evening.

FACILITIES
Alongside the lake there are houses for those who’d wish to stay a day or longer to enjoy the place. Snack Bar and Food stalls are also available, where they can serve you fresh coconut juice and etc. Huts and Chairs are also available if you’d like to chill and dine with your family and friends.

BOATING

Is available for groups of people can be for lovers and couples who’d want a moment of just being together, sharing that intimate moment with the scenery of the lake. There was a small boat that we rented for 30 minutes that toured us around the lake and made a stop to a very tiny islet. Since we were quite a big group we were able to rent out the boat exclusively for us. We were around 10 people, and paid ** 20 PHP ** each for the boat tour.

SAKANAW

They also have this motor powered boat that they called ** Sakanaw **, it’s pretty similar to the boating experience that we had however the difference of this is that. This boat has seats and TABLES! Yes, tables where you can actually eat and enjoy a meal with your friends and family or your partner while enjoying the view of the lake. The ** SAKANAW ** can accommodate 10 persons which cost ** 500PHP **, excess heads would be **50PHP ** each, this can hold the maximum of 20 persons.
