One of the basic principle of Positive Thinking is Preconditiong Your Mind to Success. You can actually forecast what your future failures or success will be by your present type of thinking. This is based on the book I bought last month in a Book Sale.

But before we can proceed to the main topic, let us define the meaning of success. We have different meaning of it, but this book share its own version of Success. Naturally, we do not mean mere achievements, but rather the more difficult feat of handling your life efficiently. It means to be success as a person; controlled, organized, not part of the world’s problem but part of its cure. This is the goal we should have ourselves; the goal of successful living, of being creative individual.

The book teaches us the ways on how to precondition ones mind:
Stop thinking failure. Start thinking success. Think and pray and work. This is the McGee’s secret for his success story.

Ten years ago, the Southland Oil Corporation was just an idea in the fertile brain of Norman A. Mcgee. Today it is a flourishing Savannah corporation occupying 24 acres at the Georgia State Port with fixed assets topping the $2,000,000 mark. McGee had this idea and had worked hard to interest others in it. The prospects looked good but McGee had no income and he was down to his last $1,000 in the bank. His wife asked him, what should they do? McGee answered; Keep on trying. Don’t ever give up.
Get a goal, clearly define it, and never give up. But first start working in your thoughts. Precondition them with sound positive thinking. When you precondition your mind, you are in the process of transforming your life. We transform our live by how we think. Thoughts are things. Thoughts are dynamic, thoughts are vital and creative, thoughts actually change conditions. If you hold defeatist thoughts, hate thoughts, dishonest thoughts, failure thoughts- these are destructive. If you have honest, love, service and success thoughts-these are creative. By the renewing of your mind you can be transformed as a person. Your condition may be transformed by the substitution of positive thinking for negative thinking. This is being done every day.
Nurture your mind with great thoughts for you will never go any higher than you think. Therefore, think big. This book belive that trouble with all of us is that we have a tendency to think only little thoughts about everything; about orselves, our family, our children, our business. It is important to define what success means to you. Define your goal clearly, and direct to the point. No more echus but pinpoint it. Be sure what your goals in life is with God’s desires for you.

Study until you really grasp the life changing power of the truth that you can precondition your own success. A good example , a boy dreaming and picture himself that his name to be on the glass panel as Sales manager. Paint a picture of yourself as succedding, hold that picture ever before you, and it will materialized. With positive thinking you can actually change the conditions of your life. According to psychologist, there is a deep tendency in human nature. Imagination is an art or science of the projected image. You might call it imaging. And the sort of image of yourself that you hold is very important for that image may become fact.

Bring God into a central place in your thought pattern. Or in other words, always put God in the center of your decisions. Pray, seek his guidance, strive to bring your effort into harmony with His teachings. So never forget God in times of troubles and happiness.

Maintain your success with poise and without tension, learn to share. Share your success liberally with others. Either you share some of your money to the institutions you wanted to help or in church or feeding program are ways of giving back to other people who are needy. Another way is to teach others the learning you got on how to think positively, how to achieve the same results with their lives that you do with yours. In this way, you will be guaranteeing the continued flow of creative ideas in and around you; you will be paying the premiums on an insurance policy protecting the success you have achieved.
You must not conclude, even though everything goes wrong that you cannot succeed. Even at the worst there is a way out, a hidden secret that can turn failure into success and despair into happiness. No situation is so dark that there is not a ray of light. So if you face circumstances that you think are extremely difficult its not utterly hopeless. You can start to change your life now not tomorrow but now.

You should not working 8-7 so hard in a company to be able to be successful. Hardworking is another factor but use your mind to precondition to success. Use these four principles steadily and regularly in your life, and success- the true success of bountiful living-will be yours. Start now to precondition your mind to success.
