MAKING GOKU BLUE ( STEP BY STEP)

HI Steemians!!

The last time i draw Goku i did not put some color on it so it looks like pale drawing without a life. Thats why i draw a new one and put some color on it.

By the way i really wants to draw since im young but i thought that will be a waste of time before and im not making a good artwork. I was wrong before thats why im bringing my fashion and that is tradional drawing.

GOKU BLUE

Here ill show two parts of making Goku blue the first part is skecthing by pencil and the second part will be the coloring Goku with tracing.

MEDIUM (Left to Right)
2H pencil , .05 mechanical pencil , .01 mechanical pencil , eraser and the Sketch pad. For coloring I used Faber castel Colour Pencil.

STEPS ON SKETCHING (1st Part)

The first thing i do for this is to draw the U shape for the face of Goku and use 2h pencil but the width is big so i change it to .05 mechanical pencil

Sometimes i take around 5 takes to make a good U shape for an anime hehehe.

Then i add the neck , starting with the muscle

After that i draw the ears of my subject, its alright not to be perfect shape but make sure the same level in the left and right side

One of my favorite part is the hair, i draw this and take around 15 mins to finish because of the curve angle hehehe.

After that 15mins in the front hair , i started to make the side to top hair. Its the same as the first hair style curvy. I take 1 minute break for every part that i finish to refreshen my eyes

I continue to draw his neck part and then add the chest with his upper clothes

I just draw the clothes , i also check the fold part and the area that needs to be highlighted later

Then i draw his belt , its a little difficult coz you need to focus on the fold parts and if you will not focus it will look different , i draw also his arms but still not complete coz it is difficult for me to draw an arms

Here i continue the left arm and right arm , then draw his left leg

I just continue to make his legs until i finish ot both , so now for the shoes part

Then i draw his shoes 👞 , maybe some of you notice the face hahaha i forgot to draw it. Thats why i make it in the last .

Because i notice it, I draw his face now and he's not happy for it. Hehehe

PART 2 (COLORING)

For the coloring i started from the bottom to up.

I first color the outer sole with gray

Then continue with dark blue on the upper part of his shoes there is three layer on the front . Black , dark gray and gray for the shading

I just repeat the procedure on the right shoes and erase some excess color

Now i will color his pants , i used 3 colors here.
Orange , red orange and yellow orange

You will see here that i put a mark on the part that will be with color red orange. It needs to be darken for us to see the shadow

After i make the mark on the dark part i color it with the light color, you will see here what i mean.

Then i repeat it in the other leg for it to show the part with sunlight and the dark part

I color the dark area first again

See the table im working , so many colour pencil scattered. Hehehe

Then i color again with light orange to make the dark area visible

Were going now to the down layer of the upper clothes , the same procedure color the dark area

Remember if your making a anime or anthing always find your source of light area so that you will know the parts that needs to be darken

Now im 85 % percent on my coloring, now that i already finish the clothes we need to color the belt

Here i used 3 colors also , blue , dark blue and violet. Again i use the 3 color for the dark to light shading

The dark part is the area i color first

Then to reach the ligh color

Until i finish to fill the blank area

Now the skin part, here you will notice the shape of his body and some muscle area. How did i make it? Again i use different color for it. White , peach , brown and dark brown

Start on his hands

Here i start in the edge, so i will color line first with white then peach next is brown and last is dark brown

I just continue the shading from his left hand to right hand

I finish the arms, Now im starting to color the chest part

Then neck part

Now i again to the hair, the colors i used light blue and periwinkle blue . From down , side to top part.

To make it more alive and catchy we will color he face and add the steemit logo

Then steemit logo to be added

The last part i traced this whole drawing with .05 technical pen and for the face area is .01 technical pen and erase the excess color.
