RE: Alchemy, Transmuting Base Metals into Nobel Metals: Lead to Gold [Dabbing with a Mage episode 155]

Great question, @thematoog! Alcohol is the Mercury of the plant realm. Mercury is the philosophic idea of the Universal Spirit. When any herb is hermetically sealed away with water, they all produce the same ethyl-alcohol in varying ratios depending on fermentable sugar content of the herb in question. Grapes contain the highest content of fermentable sugars of any plant, thus making wine a go to for Alchemists for developing a link to the Spirit. This is also why alcohol is known as spirits.

Water certain can be affected by will, though I have not done much study or experimenting within this realm outside of Dr Emoto's work.

Sort:

I use my hands, to send say 'energy' to water, and this makes the water thicker and more oily in texture to my tongue.
One time I was with a group that wanted to explore natural beings hidden from eye. The one that lead this group, used her pendant on this water and said that the water then has an energy of say beyond the earthen sphere scale.
We also had water that was fed by the whole group together, which had an even higher energy than mine, for there being more people and more intention.
Don't know anymore how that water ranked up, what she said already was a lot for me to take in, as I still don't know what that means.

There is always more to learn, as I am very glad to find out again and again.
