I have found this to be a consistent mentality in a number of the world religions. The parables of Christ definitely offer some impossible tasks, and it is more obvious when you read books from other authors i.e. White Fire by Mooji.

The texts in the parables of Christ and in White Fire are circular. A sincere seeker will continue to go in circles until they realize there is no end when traveling in a circle.
