I agree with what you are saying mate.
If we don't love what we do, we will eventually find ourselves with zero energy to continue with our lives, we will suddenly stop and not be able to keep going.
The only way to be sure we won't suffer from this problems, it to appreciate our life and what we are doing with it, besides this is probably the only way to have a sustainable happiness.

And also freedom! Freedom comes from being aware of what truly makes you happy and taking responsibility for this. And then you find true freedom from that point as you grow through it
